A new attraction for kids and adults is about to open its doors in Chicago.
Chicago is opening a new amusement center next month to serve children and adults and will be called the Chicago Kid’s Park.
It’s a new attraction that combines interactive entertainment with rides and games, said Joe Bautista, director of the amusement park at the Chicago Department of Aviation.
It will offer rides, games and entertainment to people of all ages.
Bautista said the amusement center will be the first amusement park for children under the age of 6 in the United States.
It will be operated by the amusement industry, he said.
“We are excited about the future of the park and the new location,” Bautistas said.
The park will offer more than 200 themed areas, including the Kids Zone, with activities that include roller coasters, bowling, face painting, bounce houses and more.
It is expected to open in the summer of 2019.
Bartlett said the new amusement centers will be open for families of any age, which is a welcome development for the city.
“This is an opportunity for the entertainment industry to provide an opportunity that will not only give young people an outlet to explore the city but also allow them to develop their own interests and learn and develop skills,” he said in a statement.
