Riverview amusement Park has just opened its new glider shop at the Riverview Recreation Centre, a popular spot for visitors to glider in Brisbane’s Riverview area.

Riverview said the glider shops at the facility are staffed by experienced gliders and they will cater for any occasion.

It’s a good opportunity to get some gliding practice on, the facility said in a news release.

Gliders from all over Australia can now enjoy the River View Recreation Centre at the recreation centre at the riverfront.

The facility has been running since the mid-1990s.

“It’s our pleasure to welcome the RiverView glider centre to the Rivervale Recreation Centre,” Riverview spokeswoman Julie MacGregor said.

Riverview glider enthusiasts can also glider at the park’s other glider-friendly facilities at the North and East riverfronts.

“Riverview is proud to have our gliders in the River Vale Recreation Centre as we are delighted to welcome RiverView into our park,” River Vale Mayor David O’Shea said.

“We’re really looking forward to getting to know RiverView as they will be a welcome addition to our glider parks and glider areas.”

The River Vale recreation centre was established in the early 1980s by the River Valley District Council, and was recently purchased by the Queensland Government.

It is located at the corner of North River Road and North Avenue, near the Riverland Golf Course.

The glider stores are staffed with experienced river gliders, who will provide guidance and advice.

As a special offer, Riverview is offering a 10 per cent discount to customers who buy a Riverview gliders ticket or purchase a River Vale park pass.
