After an accident, actress Nancy Drew died in April of 2018.
She was 55.
But after months of silence, her family and friends have started taking to social media to share their grief.
Now, they’re raising money to fund a memorial fund, and they’re asking for donations to cover funeral costs.
They’re asking to help Nancy’s family pay for their funeral.
The family’s attorney, David F. Stroud, told NBC10 he and his family are also trying to raise money to help cover funeral expenses.
They have not yet been able to collect any donations for Nancy’s memorial fund.
Stroud said that when Nancy died, he was able to put together a memorial for her and her husband.
He said they didn’t have the resources to do a proper funeral.
But after months and months of not receiving any money, his attorney said he is trying to help.
“I’m still trying to put this together.
I think it would be nice if we could raise $1,000 or $2,000 to pay for the funeral,” Stroud said.
He said his family will also need a memorial service to honor Nancy’s legacy.
“It’s going to be a nice moment to say that she’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever known, and she’s gone and died in a very tragic accident, but she’s not gone and gone and she has not come back.
So, we’re not going to go out and say that we’re going to say goodbye to her,” Stourowsaid.
“We’re going be there to say thank you and say ‘Thank you so much.'”
He said they want to help pay for Nancy Drew’s funeral as well as for her burial.
The funeral home is in the Philadelphia suburb of Kensington, where Nancy Drew worked for decades.
The family has not said how much money they expect to raise to pay Nancy’s funeral.
