
The city is calling for more information about Victor Amuseo’s death, saying there are questions surrounding his cause of death.
The coroner ruled the 41-year-old’s death a homicide.
The Cincinnati Police Department released the preliminary findings of the autopsy Thursday and released a statement on its Facebook page.
The city’s chief medical examiner said the cause of Amusos death was “not determined.”
The coroner said Amusocz had been in a coma and died from a heart attack.
Amusos funeral is scheduled for Wednesday in Cincinnati.
Amanuso’s family released a joint statement with the city on Thursday.
The statement said the family is devastated by Victor Amuses death.
It also said Amuses wife and daughter are grieving the loss of their father.
Cincinnati’s chief health officer, Dr. James Lipps, said Thursday that the city was “shocked and saddened” to learn of Amuses’ death.
He also said the city will review its policies and procedures regarding the handling of medical emergencies.
A man who was arrested by police on Saturday was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
